Circle of the Stag proudly embraced the role of Temple Host for the final Heartland Pagan Festival, which took place from May 25th to May 29th, 2023. Our enchanting Mystical Forest theme beckoned seekers into a realm suffused with magic, leading them to a sacred sanctuary devoted to the mighty Cernunnos. Within this hallowed temple, seekers encountered the horned God himself, beseeching them to roll the Dice of Nocturnal Wisdom.
In a stroke of brilliance, our circle members devised a wondrous twist by employing ethereal, glow-in-the-dark Dungeons and Dragons dice. Each roll of the dice determined a distinct outcome from a meticulously crafted list of possibilities. Such an creative approach bestowed upon seekers an array of extraordinary encounters. To commemorate their journey, every seeker departing the temple was gifted a necklace to house their enchanted dice, serving also as a vessel for cherished crystals, stones, or tokens of their choosing. The feedback we received was resplendently positive, affirming the meticulous construction of our temple and the sheer delight it brought to all who traversed its mystical depths.
While we harbor a profound melancholy as the Heartland Pagan Festival draws to a close, we eagerly anticipate the unfolding of future marvels crafted by the Heartland Spiritual Alliance. This festival has been attending by some our Circle of the Stag members since 2014, and we enthusiastically embrace the opportunity to facilitate forthcoming magical experiences.
